As a result of the forestation activities that have started in 1991, 25.000 saplings have been planted at the area, and the number of saplings have increased with the saplings that our participants have planted in their own yards.

The GOSB hasn’t settled with the forestation activities done in the area, but has created a GOSB Forest at a 11 hectare land in 2001 with the aim of leaving a healthier environment to next generations.

Also, GOSB has included the nearly two and a half hectare land located at the north entrance of GOSB in March 2009 in the GOSB forest of 11 hectares created in 2001.
